This very pretty gold and diamond bracelet is a hybrid of Victorian and 1980s elements. A panel of twisted open-work 14k gold is set with three diamonds floating in the negative space; this component dates to circa 1860. The chunky old European cut diamonds have a .55tcw. Over 100 years later, the antique panel was attached to a band of braided 14k gold chain. The woven chain is engraved with a glittering texture, a style that was very popular in the 1980s. The piece fastens with a small lobster clasp.
