Revival Cycles is proud to offer Motogadget gauges; precision made in Germany and known to be the finest gauges available. Several of our complete custom projects sport them and impressive they definitely are. We all have our own reasons for wanting the simple look of a single gauge, but why give up function in the process? These gauges allow you to have it all: high tech function with the simple, minimalist look of a single gauge on your custom project.
The Motoscope Mini is an ultra-small digital motorcycle instrument. The specially designed, unique, LED display in the instrument area features 251 ultra-bright LEDs to form an almost rimless, clear, easy-to-read display surface that can be used virtually edge-to-edge for displaying values. Only this innovative, sophisticated technology allows maximum display area with minimal housing size.
The Motoscope Mini fits with its very simple, elegant design and high-quality appearance to almost any two-, three-or four-wheel. Its miniature size allows you the freedom to either incorporate the piece into the visual aesthetic of your project or hide the gauge almost entirely.
As with all Motogadget products, this gauge is constructed with state-of-the-art technology, high-quality materials, fantastic build-quality and intensive quality assurance to help guarantee maximum visual and functional quality that is 'made in Germany.'
The Casing:
The high-quality aluminum casing is milled from the solid surface and i s black anodized. The highly polished version has its own charm. The electronics are completely encapsulated in the housing thus making it weather, water, dust and vibration resistant.
Display Features:
The innovative dot matrix of 251 ultra-bright LEDs provides the engine speed through a scalable, horizontal light strip and all the other functions are displayed as easily readable number values. To achieve optimum readability in darkness, daylight and twilight, the brightness of the LEDs adjusts automatically. For indicating engine redline (or shift light), an RPM value can be programmed into the gauge. When reached, all LEDs pulsate simultaneously when the programmed limit is exceeded. Another note of versatility, the Motoscope Mini's screen can display numbers not only horizontally, but also vertically, providing greater freedom for mounting configurations.
You can also use the to easily show indicator and neutral lights. Operation
A menu button or high-beam button on the handlebar is used to switch from one display mode to another. The first few lines permanently display the speed. Other measured values can be retrieved by pressing the button on the display as needed. The menu button is also the programming knob and is used to enter all of the specific values of the motorcycle. Settings or saved values are automatically saved even if the gauge loses standby power (dead battery).
Installation and Connection
Courtesy of the very small dimensions, the Motoscope Mini is easy to install anywhere. Standing alone on the handlebar, combined with existing instrument panels, or recessed into the tank, the Motoscope Mini can be mounted wherever you wish.
Sensors and Connecting Cables
Simple and detailed instructions for the gauge make installation and operation a breeze even for those not wholly familiar with motorcycle electrical systems. The supplied, very small (M5/25 mm), 1.5 meter stainless steel cable sensor can be easily installed either at the front or the rear of the motorcycle to determine speed. For bikes with mechanical speedometer drives, the conversion is easy. The Motoscope Mini is compatible with many original speedometer sensors (reed contact and proximity sensors). In these situations, only connectors remain connected and the mechanical installation of a sensor is unnecessary. An intelligent "teach" function provides easy calibration for the speedometer and vehicles with transmission sensors.
