WOOD TYPES

WOOD ESSENCES - The vast experience gained by our experts and a dedicated sound study have led us to design a new acoustic box/accordion body, that is very robust and stable. Various types of wood are used for acoustic components of the structure such as mahogany, maple, fir and beech mixed or matched with each other in order to work against each element component and avoid any, albeit minimal, alteration size.
These solutions make the sound of voices outside the Cassotto load with finely harmonic modulations and expressive sound, while those inside the Cassotto are even warmer and more enveloping.

THE REEDS

“TURBO” REEDS - An innovative type of handmade reeds, completely Made in Italy, has been exclusively developed for this model according to Pigini’s specifications. This new design offers a dynamic and amazing sound, with graded tones that range from pianissimo to fortissimo, creating a seamless collaboration between performer and instrument. The sound of the bass reeds is even better and more powerful, than the voices are more responsive and energetic.

EXCLUSIVE

In order to be able to deliver a perfect accordion, made with the greatest care and a deep quality control, the NOVA production is extremely limited.
A maximum of 6 pieces will see the day -and spotlight- each year. This makes the NOVA worldwide a collector's item.
The Nova has 226 buttons (mother of pearl) and 15 chin registers;
It is delivered with a case, hard handbag, and soft bag for air transport.
Of course, the NOVA comes with the exceptional user guarantee, 10 years.

It must be carried out after one year from purchase and not later than two years.
The date of the service must be agreed with the Company at least 3 months in advance.
The instrument must be left at the Company for approx 5 working days.

At the moment delivery time of this model is about 18 months from order.
A more precise delivery date can be communicated only upon receipt of order. We require a 50% deposit to order, along with the specifications of your accordion then Pigini can start to build your Nova.
