Intro & New Features
Unleash your potential! Strategically created with the elite playmaker in mind, the CODE Encrypt Pro stick is built for performance. The lightest CODE model ever made is equipped with a perfectly balanced hybrid kickpoint. A new advanced composite lay up ensures exceptional puck handling and shooting. It features state-of-the-art ergonomic EVT shaft shape, which creates energized power transfer for puck distribution accuracy and the ultimate confidence on the ice.
Stick Profile
The Code Encrypt Pro uses a hybrid kickpoint, which combines the benefits of both a low and high kick point. It is designed to provide a quick release for wrist and snap shots, while also delivering more power for slap shots. The hybrid kick point is achieved by using a combination of carbon fibres with different flex properties in the lower and upper parts of the shaft. The lower part of the shaft uses stiffer carbon fibres, creating a low kick point for quick releases. The upper part of the shaft uses more flexible carbon fibres, creating a higher kick point for increased power and accuracy on slap shots.
Shaft Construction
The shaft uses a variety of unique designs and cutting-edge materials to provide outstanding performance. The shaft's BlackLine XXV carbon fibre has a 25K weave for robust uniformity and weight savings. The FeatherLite XT layup further reduces the stick's weight by eliminating unnecessary materials in both the blade and shaft.
This stick also makes use of Pyrofil carbon fiber, which was designed by Mitsubishi and is part of the Sherwood Code family. This ultra-lightweight material improves the stick's overall feel and performance while also providing remarkable longevity when subjected to the rigors of severe games.
Lastly, redesigned from the ground up, this ergonomic shaft combined with new EVT gives players a pro shaft taper which allows for greater power transfer in both shooting and passing.
Blade Construction
This stick uses Sherwood's VR92 blade which includes an I-92 dampening inlay to elevate the blade's durability and responsiveness. This innovative technology not only strengthens the blade for increased longevity, but it also significantly improves the feel during passes and shots, providing players with enhanced control and precision in every play they make.
Grip
The grip on the Encrypt Pro is the tactile grip, which is designed to provide players with a strong and reliable grip so they can hold onto their sticks better. This stick also has concave sidewalls with grip friendly corners to provides a more natural feel in a players hand.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Sherwood Code Encrypt Pro Youth Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: PP28
PP28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
20 Flex (PP28), L/R - 46"
